Our mother in faith told us today that we need to know that in the things of God only you can make the decision to stop or start something. After your decision is made the Lord can now begin to help you through it. She gave us some examples, be blessed as you listen to her message.

On Sunday the 13th May 2012 is Mother´s Day Services.  Our dear Pastor gave all the Mothers an invitation specially printed for the occassion.  We are looking forward to the day.  Please invite someone special so that we can be blessed.

Minister Emmanuel Okoye posed a question in today sermon: "How will the Lord remember you when he takes a stock take of our lives". God will surely have to examine our lives here on earth. Let us be true to ourselves and truly search our heart and give ourselves  an assessment based on truth of what we have done. Let us not wait for when its too late, rather lets use the time now. Many times we need to tell each other the facts even if they are painful but that will help us better ourselves.  Be blessed as you listen to the message

Pastor James last week Sunday preached about "Is anything too hard for God to do in our lives". Please listen to the message below. On Friday in the prayer meeting Pastor taught us about How to Prayer. He told us that Daniel and Nehemiah prepared  themselves before going to the Lord in prayer by fasting, and bring the flesh down.  The preparation time was long but the prayer itself was a few minutes. 

I will elaborate. If I want to pray for a specific need.  Normally I just kneel down and pray. These men understood the covenant they had with God. They shared the responsibility of the sins that had been committed by their forefathers, congregation and or tribes. So before they prayed they said, Lord incline your ear, (give me your attention) and Lord open your eyes (Look at me) hear my prayer, we have sinned against you, please forgive us. This was an eye opener for me. I just thought I had to change the way I pray.... Preparation is the key word... Nehemiah 1. 6 and Daniel 9. 1 and 2. Read these verses and be blessed. Be blessed as you listen to the message.

Last Sunday our mother in faith blessed us with a word that was not only prophetic but self building. Pastor Miriam is blessed in that way she can relate to people. Her gift is truly special.  She is a mother at heart. We as a church have a great gift from the Heavenly Father, he gave us a true mother.

Be blessed in Jesus Name.  Bretheren we are so blessed that the man of God Pastor James, is back home from a well deserved holiday.  The word for the new year is "Let us hear from God in 2012".

In the prayer meeting pastor told us that we need to be hearing from the Lord more.  We need to feed our inner man and let the flesh suffer.  This is with fasting, prayer and reading the word more.  Reading alone is not enough but studing his word. Let us  focus more and more on his glory. Let our ministries grow in 2012.

I believe that the Lord our God has chosen us for a purpose.  For such a time as this as he did with Esther.

Esther 4:14 For if you remain silent at this time, relief and deliverance for the Jews will arise from another place, but you and your father’s family will perish. And who knows but that you have come to your royal position for such a time as this?”
